Cheshire Agricultural Society: Supporting Local Communities

You may or may not be aware that the Royal Cheshire County Show we all know and love is organised and facilitated by the Cheshire Agricultural Society. As a registered charity the CAS is wholeheartedly committed to supporting local farming, agricultural and rural related businesses wherever practically possible.

At our recent AGM we were delighted to present donations to four wonderful local causes. Cheshire Federation of Young Farmers, Churches Together in Cheshire and the North West Air Ambulance charity were each presented with a cheque for £1000, whilst Cheshire County Scouts Council received a donation of £2000.

It was fantastic to see representatives from these great charities at our AGM and we do hope our donations can help to reach people that may be isolated or alone throughout Cheshire.
