Sam on the Farm: Spring has Sprung!

Well what a crazy few weeks it has been! Spring has well and truly arrived on the farm and my trip to New Zealand back in January seems like years ago…

The weather has been warmer and the Easter weekend saw the warmest temperatures yet for 2019. The lambs have now all been born, but the only problem is that I missed it all! The newest little Walton arrived on March 28th and with 2 weeks of paternity leave, I haven’t seen a single lamb birth this year!

Lambing time is one of my favourite times of year and as sad as I was to miss it, I can’t tell you how much I love being a Daddy and there’ll be plenty other lambing seasons in years to come.

I’m now back on the farm and it’s been great to see the lambs and to see how well they all look. With all the warm weather, they’ve gone out to the fields now and are very much loving life, as you’ll see!
