Congratulations To Phil Smallwood For His Win!

The Royal Cheshire County Show, the Chairmen and Directors would like to take this opportunity to congratulate NFU member and dairy farmer, Phil Smallwood on his recent win of the Meurig Raymond Award.

Phil, is known for delivering the award-winning Let’s Talk Farming marquee at the Royal Cheshire County Show, as well as promoting farming to the public at other events across the county. The Meurig Award recognises his dedication and commitment to the NFU and UK farming industry.

“Part of what I do is Let’s Talk Farming at the Royal Cheshire County Show and I also chair the Cheshire NFU’s PR committee as a part of a brilliant team of NFU farmers, which I have been part of for 30 years. As a farmer it’s really important to be getting out there and promoting the industry, that’s why I do what I do.”
