Cheshire Agricultural Society pays tribute to The Duke of Westminster for his service

The Cheshire Agricultural Society wishes to express its condolences to the family of His Grace The Duke of Westminster KG CB OBE TD CD DL following his passing on August 9.

The 6th Duke of Westminster Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor was a Deputy President of the Cheshire Agricultural Society at the time of his death.

Cheshire Agricultural Society Chairman Tony Garnett DL FARAgS, said: “We were very sad to hear this news.

“The Cheshire Agricultural Society are thinking of his family and friends at this sad time.”

The Duke of Westminster was also President of the Cheshire Agricultural Society in 1997 and 2000.
