Cheshire Agricultural Society (CIO) Announcement
18 March 2020
Upon careful consideration, The Cheshire Agricultural Society (CIO) has unfortunately taken the decision to cancel this year’s Royal Cheshire County Show, held on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th June 2020 at Clay House Farm, Knutsford.
Following new government measures announced earlier this week, the Cheshire Agricultural Society (CIO) has decided that this is now our only viable option to ensure the health and safety of all exhibitors and attendees.
The cancellation of this year’s Royal Cheshire County Show was a difficult decision to make as we understand that the Show is greatly anticipated by all members of the agricultural community and the tens of thousands of visitors that we welcome annually.
We were very much looking forward to welcoming you to our 2020 event, with an exciting line-up of attractions, exhibitions and demonstrations planned, however we hope you can fully support us in this decision and we will now start work on putting together an even bigger and better Show for 2021.
We would like to thank our visitors, entrants, exhibitors and members for their continued support during these unprecedented times and we look forward to seeing you at the 2021 Show taking place on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd June.
If you have ordered tickets or booked entries through our website or over the phone, you will be automatically refunded over the coming weeks. There will be a small administrative fee per booking.
For all exhibitors, Show Director Rob Davenport will be in touch directly with you over the coming weeks. If you would like more information on this, please contact the Cheshire Show office by email on rdavenport@royalcheshireshow.org
If you have a membership of the Cheshire Agricultural Society, we would really appreciate your ongoing support through the challenges ahead. For more information, please click here.
