Bidlea Dairy Farm: Silver in September

With autumn just around the corner, Bidlea Dairy have made the most out of the last month of summer!

Bidlea bought their favourite ‘Bidlea Plover’ cattle to the Romiley Young Farmers Show to demonstrate dairy cow milking to educate the public on what farming entails, as well as getting involved with the many farming activities on offer.

Since taking home several rosettes from this year’s Cheshire Show, Bidlea Dairy have also won a Silver Award for their Milk at the International Cheese and Dairy Award – Nantwich 2019 and have been  recognised in the popular Farmer’s Guardian.

As well as being very busy with life on the farm, including showing the WI Committee around the farm and dairy, Bidlea’s girls visited Goostrey School and Bidlea even welcomed some Heifer calf twins!

Bidlea gave the WI committee a tour around the farm.

Bidlea Dairy’s Milk has been awarded with a Silver International Cheese and Dairy Award.
