Young Farmers
In the Autum of 2025 Richard was honoured to accept CYF’s invitation to become their new Patron. In accepting the role Richard commented:
’Supporting young people, at the beginning of their working lives, so they can reach their career potential, as a Human Resources (HR) professional, has been the constant thread of my career. The role you have kindly offered me brings all these passions together. At the heart of CYF is caring, looking after each other and having fun! Conscious also of the importance of promoting good safety, improved mental health and well-being which will be my priorities. As your Patron it is my pleasure to lend my name and support to you all, to raise your profile, attract likeminded people and sponsors. To serve as your figurehead and ambassador, and while my role is largely honorary, without legal or management responsibilities for the CYF itself, I hope you feel my values and commitment align with your mission, I look forward to my role and working with you all’.
