A welcome yet unprecedented demand will see The Royal Cheshire County Show release tickets for sale in September for the first time ever!

Early bird offers have not traditionally been offered until December at the earliest to give enthusiastic show-goers the chance to receive tickets as Christmas gifts.

The next The Royal Cheshire County Show will be held in 2016 on June 21 and 22 at The Royal Cheshire County Showground.

But on the back of the most successful show on the record, in which 80,000 people flocked through the showground gates, staff are busily at work to ensure tickets are on sale soon with aim to make them available next week.

The Royal Cheshire County Show website will be the only place potential visitors will be able to secure an early ticket, only available as an e-ticket, once they are released to the public.

Executive director of Cheshire Agricultural Society Nigel Evans said: “It’s a very nice problem to have.

“There is still a warm glow surrounding the show after the June event which is obviously great for us to know people had a great time and are keen to come back.

“This unusual demand for tickets this far in advance of next year’s show has pushed us to get tickets on sale as soon as possible.

“Subject to arrangements with our ticket seller, they will be available to order next week.”

In another coup for show visitors, ticket prices for the event have been held.

Advance tickets will soon be available for purchase at the following prices:

£16 – adults (aged 16 and over)

£8 – children (aged 5 to 15)

  • £35 – family ticket (two adults, two children)

Stayed tuned – we’ll let you know as soon as 2016 tickets become available!
