Young Farmers
“In the current day, Cheshire YFC is aimed at more than just the typical farmer, with many members coming from the County’s larger towns and beyond. There are eleven diverse clubs affiliated to the federation, who compete against each other in a variety of competitions across the YFC year, from honing stockjudging skills to showcasing sporting talents, Junior Quizzing to Senior Debating, there is something for everyone to try their hand at – not forgetting the wonderful opportunities to socialise and meet new people and celebrate achievements at discos and balls!
Welcoming anyone between the ages of 11-30, there is something for everyone and the Royal County Cheshire Show has to be one of the highlights of our year as we proudly present our floats, parading them in the main ring before our horse-drawn carriage, which leads with our newly crowned ambassadors, our Dairy Queen and Maids, for the first time.
