2021 Royal Cheshire County Show
5 July 2021
The Greatest Show in the North West is back!
The Royal Cheshire County Show is a grand celebration of everything we know and love about farming and the countryside. One of the most highly anticipated agricultural shows in the country, The Cheshire Agricultural Society is delighted to announce that after last year’s virtual show, the summer spectacular is set to return and will take place on Saturday 31st July 2021, for one day only and tickets are now live and available to purchase!
An exciting line-up of attractions will be taking place at the one-day show including competitions, exhibitions, demonstrations & performances. Rest assured, your old Royal Cheshire County Show favourites are set to be making an appearance!
We are delighted to welcome back the exhilarating Quad Bike Stunt Show, showcasing precision riding, nail-biting tricks & jumps and the unforgettable multiple-roll stunt. Also back for 2021 is The world-renowned Sheep Show, a fun and educational ‘Miss World of sheep’ featuring the famous dancing beauties in the ’Sheep Show Hustle.’ The Young Farmers will again be joining us for their traditional Tug-O-War competition and infamous float extravaganza! Visitors will be able to enjoy an array of livestock exhibits and of course some retail therapy in the wonderful Cheshire Farmer’s Market.
As always, there will also be much opportunity to celebrate local cuisine at the Roberts Bakery Food Village, and the traditions of rural communities at The Village Green. As the competitions are much anticipated, we are happy to confirm that there will be plenty of opportunity for competing on 31st July, with competitions so far including Heavy Horses, Pygmy Goats, Dairy Goats and Honey.
After an uncertain year, the show promises ticketholders a great day out in the Cheshire countryside!
Due to restrictions, this will be a strictly members and ticketed event with limited tickets available for purchase.
For initial trade stand and sponsorship enquiries, please contact the show office on info@royalcheshireshow.org or call 01565 650 200.
In addition to the public event, The Cheshire Agricultural Society is planning to hold the much-anticipated annual Light Horse and Dog competitions on June 21st, 22nd and 23rd, which will be held behind closed doors, due to current Covid-19 restrictions. Both the Light Horse and Dog competition schedules are now live on the website!
This is the first year that the show is set to take place at the weekend, making the event far more accessible for many, which will be music to a lot of ears! The Cheshire Agricultural Society looks forward to welcoming competitors and visitors alike to this unique celebration of rural life in our beloved county.
